Vivo Y600 Pro set to make their make their debut in China on April 27th with a massive 10,200mAh battery
Vivo Y600 Pro launch date has been officially revealed. Here's what to expect from the Vivo Y600 Pro.
Worth noting for Indian buyers — shortly after it leaked online, Vivo officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming phone, the Y600 Pro. It is officially scheduled to launch in China on April 27th. Positioned as the successor to last year’s Y500 Pro, the new model signals a clear shift in upgrades, especially its massive 10,200mAh battery. Vivo has teased the phone in multiple colour options, including Floating Gold, Bright Moon Black, Vast Blue, and Starry Purple.
Vivo Y600 Pro battery details
The highlight of the Y600 Pro is its enormous 10,200mAh battery, the largest ever fitted into a Vivo smartphone. This is a significant jump not just over its predecessor, but also compared to most mainstream smartphones, which typically fall in the 6,000-7,000mAh range. Vivo claims the phone can last over 16 days on standby with light use and still deliver more than 12 hours under heavy workloads. Combined with 90W fast charging (0–100 percent in under 80 minutes), This product appears to target people who prioritise battery life without sacrificing convenience.
The battery also uses second-generation semi-solid technology, designed to remain stable in extreme temperatures and maintain health for up to six years. That should be convincing enough for people who find battery degradation a concern.
Vivo Y600 Pro specifications
In addition to its battery, Vivo has also revealed that the Y600 Pro will feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Vivo is also highlighting eye-care features, suggesting improvements in brightness control and reduced strain for prolonged usage. Durability is another major focus. The Y600 Pro comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, meaning it’s protected against dust, immersion, and even high-pressure water jets.
The phone will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, bringing the latest software version with smoother animations, improved multitasking, and AI features. While not fully confirmed, leaks suggest the Y600 Pro could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. This would place it comfortably in the upper mid-segment category.Camera-wise, expectations include a 50MP main sensor and a 32MP front camera, which seems like a decent setup. We’ll know more when the complete camera specs are revealed.
Vivo has so far confirmed the Y600 Pro’s launch in China. It’s expected to arrive in the country as well, possibly under the iQOO sub-brand. For now, the Y600 Pro looks like a strong option if battery life is your top priority, and you prefer fewer charging cycles and long-term reliability. It may be less appealing if you prioritise versatile cameras, and need a more powerful chipset.
