Vivo X300 Ultra may launch globally on April 24th, India release expected soon after
The Vivo X300 Ultra could launch globally this month itself, a listing on the company's Spanish website seems to suggest. The India launch should follow soon after.
Here is what you need to know: vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch globally on April 24, based on a listing on Vivo’s Spain website.
European pricing is tipped at around EUR 1,900 for the 16GB + 1TB variant, which is more than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Vivo’s most camera-focused premium-tier is now set to move beyond China. The Vivo X300 Ultra, which launched in its home market in late March, is expected to debut globally on April 24th, based on a listing on Vivo’s Spanish online store. The company hasn’t confirmed this as a worldwide launch date yet, but the timing and ongoing promotions suggest this is more than a regional release.
The listing also reveals Vivo’s offerings for those who pre-book. Early shoppers in Europe are being offered bundled accessories like a SmallRig stabiliser and a case, along with a launch discount.
The April 24th timeline appears to cover Europe initially, with other markets expected to follow. Reports have suggested an India launch around May 7th, with sales possibly starting a week later, although Vivo hasn’t confirmed this yet. The phone, in fact, is already being teased in the country and was spotted in the hands of cricketer Shreyas Iyer during the ongoing IPL. View this post on Instagram
Pricing will be key to how the phone is received. In China, the 16GB + 1TB variant is carrying a price tag of CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs 1.3 lakh). In Europe, That said, a leak by tipster Roland Quandt suggest a much higher price of EUR 1,900 (around Rs 2.08 lakh) for the same variant, with bundles including telephoto accessories going up to EUR 2,300 (around Rs 2.52 lakh). The X300 Ultra will compete with devices like the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, even though the leaked European pricing is more than that of Apple and Samsung. Vivo is clearly not aiming for aggressive pricing here. Instead, the X300 Ultra is being framed as a specialised premium-tier built around camera hardware and accessories.
The X300 Ultra features dual 200MP sensors — one for the main camera and another for periscope telephoto — supported by a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP front camera. There is also a dedicated teleconverter accessory that extends optical zoom further, targeting people who shoot distant subjects more frequently. This puts it in direct competition with devices like the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Ultra, both of which are also built around camera performance. Vivo’s difference lies in how it is packaging the experience with accessories playing a more visible role.
Outside of the camera system, the rest of the hardware follows a familiar premium-tier setup. The phone includes a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 7,000mAh battery, and the Snapdragon 7 Elite Gen 5 chipset. These are in line with expectations, but not the main reason to consider This product. At the expected global pricing, the X300 Ultra is unlikely to compete on value alone. Instead, it targets a narrower audience of people who care about zoom range, stabilisation, and flexibility in shooting.
If the India launch follows, it will enter a market that already has strong premium options with their loyal fanbase. The appeal here is specific. For people who prioritise camera capability above everything else, the X300 Ultra should offer a different kind of proposition.
