Fresh off the announcement desk — realme is preparing to widen its affordable C-series portfolio. As per information obtained by 91mobiles from industry sources, a new model called the Realme C100x is in development for India. This is the first time the name has appeared, and it suggests the upcoming C100 lineup will not be limited to just the C100 5G and C100i, which have introduced globally.

The early details on C100x are limited to memory and colours. The C100x with model number RMX5366 will be offered in 4GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage options. Colour variants include Golden Coast and Deepblue Tides. The configurations point to a lower entry point within the lineup, rather than a mid-tier addition.

The Realme C100 5G and C100i recently launched in Thailand on April 3rd, with both models featuring a large 7,000mAh batteries, 6.8-inch LCD displays, and IP64-rated builds. Differences between the two are expected in refresh rate, charging speeds, and chipset. The C100x appears to sit below these models. A 4GB + 64GB variant will mark the starting point in Realme’s portfolio, aimed at keeping prices accessible while retaining the core feature set.

in the country, Realme’s C-series has two new members. The Realme C83 5G, launched in March, begins at Rs 13,499 and focuses on battery capacity and display smoothness. The Realme C85 5G, introduced in November 2025, moves slightly higher with faster charging and a stronger camera setup, starting at Rs 14,999. The C100x could most likely match or sit below the C83 5G. That would make it an entry point into Realme’s current large-battery lineup.

The C100 series’ sales pitch is likely to be battery size, display smoothness, and basic durability features, which are the main talking points of the sub-Rs 15,000 segment. If the C100x is placed too close to existing devices, it risks overlapping with options that offer better hardware on spec sheets. If it’s priced lower, it could help Realme capture a wider entry-level audience. At this stage, the information is limited to variants and colours. Specifications, pricing, and launch timeline for India are yet to be confirmed.
