POCO C81 Pro briefly listed on global site; may be Redmi A7 Pro rebrand
POCO C81 Pro specifications have been revealed through a website listing of the phone. Take a look at the complete details.
Here is what you need to know: this phone has a large 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
POCO may be preparing to launch a new affordable smartphone from its C series. The POCO C81 Pro was briefly spotted on the Xiaomi global website, but was quickly taken down after. Details of the POCO C81 Pro were still captured by the Spanish publication Mundo Xiaomi, giving us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming affordable phone.
POCO C81 Pro specifications
As per details captured by the publication, the POCO C81 Pro has a large 6.9-inch LCD HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. This display size is suitable for people who enjoy watching a lot of movies and TV shows on their phone. The refresh rate should also ensure smooth scrolling, and it should get adequately bright outdoors. Powering the phone is the Unisoc T7250 SoC, which should be good enough for regular tasks.
The POCO C81 Pro includes a 6,000mAh battery, which should comfortably last for an entire day. Charging is capped at 15W, so the time taken to juice up would be quite slow. For optics, This phone gets a 13MP rear camera + auxiliary lens and an 8MP front camera. The POCO C81 Pro is also getting a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, a 200 percent boost in speaker volume, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Since there’s no direct predecessor for the C81 Pro, we can only compare it with the POCO C71. This phone has been upgraded mostly in terms of battery, and interestingly, the primary camera has been downgraded from 32MP to 13MP.
Based on the specifications, the POCO C81 Pro appears to be a rebrand of the Redmi A7 Pro global variant. The hardware is the same, and the design is also strikingly similar. It’s not surprising, though, as Redmi usually does this with POCO phones for different markets.
The POCO C81 Pro is clearly targeted at the affordable segment. This phone makes sense for people who want a low-cost smartphone with a large and bright screen, reliable battery life, and dependable performance for everyday usage. It’s recommended for shoppers who prioritise a specific feature, like the large screen, at a low price. Since the phone isn’t official yet, and we’re not sure how POCO plans to make it available for different markets, you might want to Take a look at alternatives if you need to buy a phone immediately.
