OPPO Find X9s, Find X9 Ultra India prices tipped ahead of May 21st launch
The OPPO Find X9s will cost as much as the Vivo X300 FE in the country, a new leak has claimed. Here are the details.
Breaking it down simply — tipster Abhishek Yadav claims the OPPO Find X9s will be carrying a price tag of Rs 79,999 in the country.
OPPO kicked off its premium-tier run last year with the launch of the OPPO Find X9 and OPPO Find X9 Pro in China in October. A few months later, the company expanded the lineup globally with the OPPO Find X9s, X9s Pro, and OPPO Find X9 Ultra. Recently, OPPO confirmed that the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra are launching in the country on May 21st.
Ahead of the launch, tipsters Abhishek Yadav and Sanju Choudhary have leaked the expected India pricing of the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra, and the latter is not going to be cheap by any means.
As per the leaks, the OPPO Find X9s will launch in the country at Rs 79,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. That puts it slightly above the standard Find X9, which launched at Rs 74,999 last year, but that could be attributed to the rising costs that we’ve been seeing this year. The pricing also places it directly against the Vivo X300 FE, which launched at the same price earlier this month. Sanju adds the 12GB + 512GB variant will be Rs 10,000 more expensive. He adds the sole 12GB + 512GB variant of the Find X9 Ultra will be carrying a price tag of a whopping Rs 1,69,999, which makes it the most expensive premium-tier in the country compared to others in the same configuration.
| OPPO Find X9s | OPPO Find X9 Ultra
12GB + 256GB | Rs 79,999 |
12GB + 512GB | Rs 89,999 | Rs 1,69,999
Sanju has also listed the potential launch offers that OPPO might give to sweeten the deal as Rs 1.8 lakh is could be a hard pill to swallow for shoppers.
10 percent instant bank discount
180 days defect replacement
24 months No-cost EMI
3 months Spotify premium standard
60 percent assured buyback
Up to 16 percent exchange bonus for X9s

OPPO Find X9s
Interestingly, the X9s does not really read like a watered-down premium-tier despite the smaller form factor. If anything, it feels more like a daily driver meant for people who still want premium hardware but not necessarily a giant camera-first device in their pocket. As per the specifications listed on OPPO’s global page, the phone comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits HBM brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. OPPO is also sticking with a flat display instead of curved edges, something many people now prefer for gaming, typing, and everyday use.
Performance comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. OPPO is using a triple 50MP Hasselblad-tuned setup consisting of a primary sensor with OIS, an ultrawide camera, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens. The phone also supports 4K 60fps Dolby Vision recording across all cameras, alongside 240fps slow-motion video recording.
Then there’s a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is large for a phone that remains relatively slim. OPPO also includes 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support, along with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1, NFC, and eSIM support.
Compared to the standard OPPO Find X9, the newer OPPO Find X9s appears to simplify a few premium features while adding newer connectivity upgrades. The regular Find X9 still offers extras like 50W wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and a more advanced main camera sensor with stronger stabilisation. The Find X9s, On another note, drops wireless charging and uses a slightly toned-down camera setup and chipset. That said, it adds newer features like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.1, while also focusing more on slimmer design, battery life, and thermal efficiency.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is set to be India’s second dual 200MP camera phone, after the Vivo X300 Ultra. In terms of specifications, here’s the global variant offers:
6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED with QHD+ resolution and 144Hz adaptive refresh rate
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset
Up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB or 1TB UFS 4.1 storage (only 512GB leaked for India)
7,050mAh Silicon-Carbon battery
100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless
Hasselblad Camera System with four specialised lenses
Main: 200 MP (Sony LYT-901), f/1.5, with OIS
3x Telephoto: 200 MP (OmniVision), f/2.2, with 3x optical zoom and OIS
10x Periscope: 50 MP, f/3.5, featuring a unique quintuple prism for 10x optical zoom
Ultrawide: 50 MP, f/2.0, 120 degree FOV, 14mm focal length
Selfie: 50 MP (Samsung JN5), f/2.4 with autofocus
IP66, IP68, and IP69 water/dust resistance
on spec sheets, the Vivo X300 Ultra and the rumoured OPPO Find X9 Ultra target the same kind of buyer — someone who wants top-end camera hardware, premium-tier performance, and very large batteries without compromise. Both phones use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, large QHD+ LTPO AMOLED displays, and advanced multi-camera systems tuned by ZEISS or Hasselblad.
Vivo appears to focus more on professional-style video and photography features with gimbal stabilisation and 4K 120fps recording, while OPPO seems to lean harder into zoom hardware and battery life with its dual 200MP camera setup and larger 7,050mAh battery. The Vivo X300 Ultra already begins at Rs 1,59,999 in the country, while the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is rumoured to cost around Rs 1,69,999. At that point, Vivo and OPPO are no longer trying to be “affordable premium-tier” brands. They have pretty comfortably joined Apple and Samsung in premium pricing territory now. Buyers should most definitely wait for reviews to see whether they get the bang out of their bucks for the Ultra.
The Find X9s may end up being the more practical phone in the lineup for a lot of shoppers. It’s aimed at people who simply want a premium phone that gets the fundamentals right, with strong cameras, reliable battery life, premium-tier performance, and a design that does not feel exhausting to use after a full day.
