OPPO Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s India launch date and pricing leaked
OPPO Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s India launch date is expected to be announced soon. That said, a leak reveals what could be the launch date.
In case you were waiting for clarity, just as the OPPO Find X9 Ultra debuted in China, The company announced it’s bringing the phone to India as well. The Find X9 Ultra will launch alongside the Find X9s (not the Find X9s Pro in China) in the country this month. These two phones will join the existing lineup in the country, including the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. The new launches suggest OPPO wants to cover a wider premium-tier spectrum, from ultra-premium camera phones to more accessible performance flagships. OPPO hasn’t announced a specific launch date for India yet, but a new leak may have revealed it.
As per tipster Sanju on X, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s are set to launch in the country on May 15th. This would mean that we’re only two weeks away from what could be the debut of OPPO’s latest phones in the country. While the company has already confirmed both phones will launch here in May, a specific launch date hasn’t been revealed. So it’s quite possible that May 15th could be the launch date for the upcoming OPPO flagships.
OPPO Find X9s India pricing tipped
The tipster added that the OPPO Find X9s will be priced around Rs 70,000 in the country. If so, it would put the Find X9s just below the Find X9, which begins at Rs 74,999. This makes sense, though, as the moniker suggests the Find X9s could be an affordable alternative to the premium-tier Find X9.
Here are the confirmed specifications of the OPPO Find X9s:
6.59-inch FHD+ (2760×1256 pixels) AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 7i
50MP primary + 50MP telephoto + 50MP ultra-wide, 32MP front camera
MediaTek Dimensity 9500s
7,025mAh battery, 80W SUPERVOOC charging
Up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 512GB storage
Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky, Sunset Orange colours
The Find X9s appears to be positioned as a more balanced premium-tier, offering strong performance, a large battery, and a versatile camera system. Since This phone is expected to be priced below the Find X9, it could serve as a premium-tier alternative at a more affordable price. While the X9s aims for balance, its success will hinge on whether its camera system can truly stand out in a fiercely competitive segment.
The Find X9s might be for people who want a slightly compact design with premium-tier-grade performance and endurance, and a versatile camera setup. Given that this pricing is a leak for now, potential shoppers should wait for official announcements and full reviews before making a decision.
