If you missed the launch, during the first week of April, Digital Chat Station (DCS) leaked the rear camera configuration of the OPPO Find X10 Pro, revealing that This phone will feature a triple 200MP lens setup. Now, the leakster has posted the key camera, display, and chipset details of the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max, the third full-fledged premium-tier rumoured under the Find X10 series, expected to launch toward the end of the year, on his Weibo account.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max could support massive camera sensors

As per DCS’s Weibo post, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max could carry a 200MP primary camera with a massive 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, and a 3MP multispectral lens, as found on the OPPO Find X9 Pro and X9 Ultra for improving colour accuracy and highlights. As for the ultrawide lens, the tipster notes that the company is evaluating using either a 200MP 1/1.56-inch sensor or a 50MP 1/2.75-inch camera. Given its camera configuration, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is shaping up to feature one of the most advanced triple rear camera setups on any smartphone. Although similar to the Find X10 Pro, This phone’s leaked periscope specifications match the OPPO Find X9 Ultra’s 3x periscope lens, which is currently the largest sensor on a telephoto periscope camera. If everything holds, the sensor will allow people to capture sharp and detailed portraits and close-range shots since the sensor can gather tons of light. Similarly, the large main camera sensor could result in improved low-light photography and better detail retention. The camera system is likely to be assisted by Hasselblad, as is the case with the Find X9 series, to give people an array of filters and film simulations to choose from. Moving on to the display, DCS states that the Find X10 Pro Max could either have a 6.89-inch 2K LTPO flat display or a slightly smaller 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO panel. For years, the Find ‘Pro’ variant has been limited to 1.5K resolution, so the soon-to-debut ‘Pro Max’ variant having a 2K display resolution will be a welcome change. In other news, what will reportedly be the phone’s direct rival, the Vivo X500 Pro (X300 Pro’s successor), may also include a 2K panel this time around.

Lastly, DCS mentioned that the phone will run on a 2nm Dimensity chipset, strongly indicating MediaTek’s next-gen premium-tier chipset that could launch in October this year. Speculated to be called the Dimensity 9600 Pro, the chipset could bring some heavy efficiency gains thanks to the advanced fabrication process. It’s likely the standard OPPO Find X10 will run on the Dimensity 9600, to give the ‘Pro’ variants in the Find X10 series a clear distinction.

Given the leaked specifications so far, the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max could make waves for boasting a powerful camera setup. Beyond cameras, the company will look at ways to get the most out of the hardware through computational photography and software tuning, giving people the best imaging results possible.
