OPPO A6s Pro with 7,000mAh battery and IP69K protection launched in China
OPPO A6s Pro pricing and specs have been officially revealed. Take a look at details of the OPPO A6s Pro.
Breaking it down simply — oPPO has expanded its A-series portfolio in China with the launch of the A6s Pro, a mid-segment smartphone that leans heavily into battery life, durability, and balanced performance. OPPO’s A-series has traditionally focused on delivering reliable everyday smartphones, and the A6s Pro continues that approach with a stronger emphasis on endurance and durability. This phone houses a 7,000mAh battery as its headline feature.
In China, the OPPO A6s Pro is priced around Rs 30,000. OPPO offers the A-series smartphones in the country too, but there’s no official confirmation on the A6s Pro yet. That said, the design looks quite similar to the OPPO F33 series launching in the country tomorrow. So it could be the same phone with minor tweaks.
OPPO A6s Pro specifications
The OPPO A6s Pro comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits. This phone should offer a well-rounded visual experience for everyday use and media consumption. It’s also slightly smaller than the usually large screens and not too compact either.
inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. The chipset, clocked at up to 2.4GHz, should be able to handle daily multitasking and moderate gaming without major hiccups. OPPO has also included a 4,300 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system, which should help maintain stable performance over longer sessions.
On the camera front, the A6s Pro has a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor at the back, and a 16MP front camera. The setup is quite standard for a mid-segment phone, but it isn’t versatile enough, lacking a telephoto or ultra-wide lens. It indicates OPPO is prioritising consistency over pushing high-end camera capabilities.
This phone includes a 7,000mAh battery, paired with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. This should translate to multi-day usage for most people, along with quick top-ups when needed. This phone also comes with an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.
Compared to similarly priced devices, the OPPO A6s Pro stands out for its larger battery, faster charging speeds, and higher durability rating. That said, it trades off in areas like camera versatility. This phone seems more of a balanced package for those who want a capable mid-segment phone. Based on what it offers, the OPPO A6s Pro is recommended for people who want a dependable smartphone with exceptional battery life, fast charging, and strong durability. It’s ideal for heavy people, travellers, or those who prioritise longevity over camera performance. This would also be a significant upgrade if you’re currently using an older phone with a smaller battery or less durable design.
