OnePlus teases new tablet launch in India, could be OnePlus Pad 4
OnePlus Pad 4 India launch may have been officially teased. Here's what to expect from the upcoming OnePlus premium-tier tablet.
Worth noting for Indian buyers — onePlus has begun teasing a new tablet launch in the country, and while the company hasn’t revealed much officially, the teaser image leaves little to the imagination. The silhouette clearly points to a premium tablet, likely the successor to the OnePlus Pad 3, which arrived in the Indian market last year.
New OnePlus tablet teaser
Looking closely at the teaser, the camera module design and three-pin connector alignment strongly resemble the upcoming OPPO Pad 5 Pro. This has led to speculation that OnePlus may once again follow its strategy of rebranding an OPPO tablet for global markets. If that turns out to be true, the new OnePlus tablet could essentially be a repackaged version of the OPPO Pad 5 Pro, tailored for India with minor tweaks.

OPPO has yet to launch the Pad 5 Pro in China as it’s scheduled to debut on April 21st, alongside the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, OPPO Find X9s Pro, and the OPPO Pad Mini. This is OPPO’s premium-tier tablet as well, so even with the rebranding, it’s not necessarily bad for Indian consumers.
There’s also an interesting naming question. While the natural successor would be the OnePlus Pad 4, OnePlus could skip the number altogether. In China, the number “4” is often avoided due to cultural reasons, which opens the door for a possible Pad 5 branding instead. Also, it might sound early for such a launch, but OnePlus has already moved its launches early this year. For instance, the OnePlus Nord 6 arrived earlier than expected this year, hinting at a more aggressive product cycle.
OnePlus Pad 4 expected specs
If OnePlus is indeed rebranding the OPPO Pad 5 Pro, here’s what we might expect:
13.2-inch LCD display with 1920 × 1200 resolution
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset
13MP rear camera
Massive 13,380mAh battery, 80W fast charging
Colour options like Dawn Gold, Mocha Brown, and Monet Purple
These specifications would position the tablet firmly in the premium-tier category, especially with a high-end chipset and a significantly large battery. Since OnePlus has already teased the launch of its upcoming tablet, it might be worth waiting for if you’re looking for a high-performance Android tablet with a large display, strong battery life, and a premium-tier chipset. The tablet would be ideal for productivity, media consumption, and even gaming. But since it would be OnePlus’s premium-tier offering, pricing could be on the higher side. So if you want a more affordable tablet or something compact, you might want to Take a look at alternatives.
