OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra to house an 8,600mAh battery, 120W fast charging support
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra battery details have been officially revealed. Take a look at details of the Ace 6 Ultra.
If you missed the launch, onePlus is doubling down on gaming performance with its upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, set to launch in China on April 28th. In the lead-up to the unveiling, the company has steadily revealed key details, positioning This product as a performance-focused premium-tier built for high frame rate gaming and extended battery life. OnePlus has now revealed the battery details of the Ace 6 Ultra.
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra battery capacity
The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is confirmed to pack an 8,600mAh battery, significantly larger than what most premium-tier phones offer today. With 120W fast charging support, OnePlus claims up to seven hours of gameplay on a full charge, while a quick 10-minute top-up can deliver around two hours of gaming. Supporting this is an OPPO-developed “Energy Concentration” chip, designed to improve efficiency and battery longevity. The company says it can deliver measurable gains in both normal and extreme cold conditions, while maintaining stable performance even at lower battery levels.
Large batteries have become standard among flagships, and brands like OnePlus are pushing the bar higher. With an 8,600mAh battery, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will stand out among not just flagships but performance-focused phones as well. The upcoming Ace 6 Ultra will also compete with the newly launched Redmi K90 Max, which has an 8,550mAh battery, the Dimensity 9500 SoC, and even a built-in cooling fan.
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra gaming features
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is confirmed to support 165fps gameplay in select titles, backed by a 165Hz display and a 4,000Hz instant touch sampling rate via the Lingxi chip. Combined with a dedicated G2 Pro Wi-Fi chip and a 360-degree antenna system, OnePlus is clearly targeting competitive gamers who value low latency and stable connectivity.
The phone will sport a 1.5K BOE display with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and full DCI-P3 colour coverage. These features help in not just gaming but also balance visual quality with responsiveness.
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra specifications
IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for strong dust and water resistance
An in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner
Dual stereo speakers
ColorOS 16 based on Android 16
This product will be offered in distinctive finishes like “Ace Awakening” and “Metal Storm,” with the former featuring a 3D lighting effect on the back, adding a visual flair often associated with gaming phones. OnePlus is also launching a gaming controller called the ‘Strix G15’ for the Ace 6 Ultra. It comes with shoulder triggers and offers a good grip, which should help in long gaming sessions.
If the specifications translate well into everyday performance, the Ace 6 Ultra could appeal strongly to mobile gamers looking for high refresh rate gameplay and stable connectivity, people who prioritise battery life and fast charging, or people who want premium-tier-grade durability with gaming-centric features.
That said, for casual people, the extreme focus on gaming, like ultra-high refresh rates and specialised chips, may be overkill. So, people who don’t require these dedicated features can skip the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra.
