Motorola Razr Fold specifications
The Motorola Razr Fold is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, which puts it in the premium-tier-level territory. This should make the Razr Fold a capable device for regular to moderate tasks. The inner display is an 8.1-inch LTPO 2K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the outer screen measures 6.6 inches and goes up to 165Hz. Both displays support the Motorola Pen Ultra, and the software experience leans heavily into productivity, with features like multitasking modes, a laptop-style interface with a trackpad, and a tent-style desk display for media and notifications.
Motorola is known to offer one of the most useful and interactive cover displays on clamshell foldables. So, the Razr Fold is expected to deliver a similar experience.
The phone runs Android 16 with Hello UX, and Motorola is promising up to seven years of OS updates, something that brings it closer to Samsung and Google’s long-term support strategies. The Razr Fold includes a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, significantly larger than what Samsung and Google offer today, which is between 4,400mAh and 4,800mAh with slower charging speeds, which has often been a pain point for power people.
On the camera front, This product includes a triple 50MP setup of primary, ultra-wide with macro, and a 3x periscope telephoto, along with a 32MP outer selfie camera and a 20MP inner sensor. The Razr Fold also carries an IP48/IP49 rating for dust and water resistance, which is decent but rivals like the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold offer IP68.
In Europe, it is carrying a price tag of EUR 1,999 (roughly Rs 2.14 lakh), with the Motorola Pen Ultra bundled in the box. Pricing would differ depending on the market, but we can still expect a high number, given This phone industry’s situation right now. The Razr Fold could appeal to people looking for a foldable that prioritises battery life, charging speed, and a more complete camera system. We’ll still have to see how the Razr Fold is priced, and how it performs compared to rivals.
