Worth noting for Indian buyers — the Motorola Razr 70 has been doing the rounds in the rumour mill, with its complete design revealed through leaked renders. The upcoming clamshell foldable is seen with the same design as its predecessor, but in different colours and finishes this time. Ahead of any official information, 91mobiles has spotted the Motorola Razr 70 on Italy’s EPTO website, revealing its pricing details.

The EPTO website has listed the Razr 70 8GB RAM + 256GB variant in Hematite, which is expected to be the base model of the foldable. Here, the Razr 70 has been listed for 976.90 Euros, which translates to around Rs 1,06,922. This is a steep price hike for the foldable from its predecessor, the Razr 60, which launched around 799 Euros (Rs 87,500 approx) last year. The price hike could be due to memory shortages and a surge in component prices for This phone industry.

While prices do differ depending on the market, and usually on the higher side for European countries, it still signals a general trend overall. This means that we can expect the Razr 70 to launch at a higher price than the Razr 60. in the country, the Razr 60 launched at a starting price of Rs 49,999, which is comparatively more reasonable than rivals like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, carrying a price tag of Rs 89,999.

The Motorola Razr 70 could launch in six different colour variants. The foldable has been spotted in Green, Dark Grey, White/Silver (with a marble-like finish), and Pink. It is also tipped to arrive in Sparkling Green and Hematite, which has been confirmed through the EPTO listing. Each colour may come with a distinct finish, ranging from vegan leather to matte textures and even a marble-like back.

The Razr 70 is expected to feature a 6.9-inch internal OLED display, paired with a 3.63-inch cover screen. In terms of form factor, the phone is listed at 7.2mm thickness when unfolded and weighs 188 grams. For optics, it could house dual 50MP rear cameras with 3x optical zoom, and a 32MP front camera. It’s also tipped to feature a 4,500mAh battery with 33W wired charging support. Battery capacity remains the same, but charging has been slightly bumped. Motorola is also expected to offer configurations going up to 18GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Based on the details we know so far, the Razr 70 may offer incremental upgrades over the Razr 60 with slightly faster charging, new finishes, and possibly improved camera versatility with optical zoom. The bigger focus here could be refreshed colours and different finishes. Still, we should wait for official details to see what Motorola has planned for its upcoming foldable.

The Razr 70 may still be appealing to shoppers who want a flip-style foldable phone with different finishes to choose from, dependable specs, and an interactive cover screen. That said, existing Razr 60 people may want to wait for reviews if they’re planning to upgrade to the Razr 70.
