In case you were waiting for clarity, lava has introduced a new memory configuration for its affordable phone, the Bold N1 5G (review). This smartphone launched as part of the company’s Bold N1 lineup, following the original Bold N1 and Bold N1 Pro. The move follows the phone’s initial debut in September 2025 and gives people another option with a higher RAM and storage configuration. The Lava Bold N1 5G launched at a starting price of Rs 7,499 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Lava has now introduced a 6GB + 128GB variant for the Bold N1.
The new variant is carrying a price tag of Rs 12,999 (Rs 11,999 as a limited launch offer) and is set to become available for purchase starting May 1st via Amazon. Here’s a look at all the variants and prices.

4GB + 128GB | Rs 7,999

Lava Bold N1 5G specifications
The Lava Bold N1 5G runs on the Unisoc T765 processor, which is tuned for everyday tasks and entry-level 5G usage rather than heavy gaming. This device has a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is a decent setup for multimedia and gaming. It houses a sizeable 5000mAh battery with 18W charging support. This should be good enough for regular usage. That said, there are options like the Redmi 15C offering a 7,000mAh battery.
This phone offers a 13MP rear camera with 4K video recording support and a 5MP front camera. This is a basic camera setup, which seems typical for affordable phones. On the software front, it runs Android 15 out of the box with two Android upgrades and three years of security updates. The Lava Bold N1 5G also gets an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
From a practical usage standpoint, the Lava Bold N1 5G fits well into the needs of first-time 5G people. It can be a sensible pick for those looking to experience faster connectivity on a affordable, while still getting reliable performance for day-to-day tasks like messaging, browsing, and streaming. That said, camera performance remains a weak spot, making it less ideal for people who prioritise photography.
If you prioritise a clean software experience and regular usage, and are on a tight affordable, this is a strong contender. That said, if photography is crucial, you might want to consider alternatives. But those coming from an older 4G phone and want to upgrade can go ahead and buy the phone.
