If you missed the launch, reliance Jio has introduced a new prepaid option under its new Youth & Gaming category, aimed at young people, as well as those with a strong focus on streaming, gaming, and social media usage. There is only one pack, categorised under this plan, carrying a price tag of Rs 459. The benefits include True 5G data up to 61GB, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS/ day, and a host of subscription services. The Rs 459 Jio Youth & Gaming plan comes with a validity of 28 days, and here’s how its benefits stack up during everyday usage.

Jio Youth & Gaming plan benefits

carrying a price tag of Rs 459, this Jio plan offers 2GB of data per day, along with an additional 5GB of high-speed data, taking the total to 61GB. The extra data kicks in once the daily limit is exhausted, ensuring you stay connected without interruptions. It’s particularly useful in those crunch moments when the day isn’t over yet, and you’ve already burned through your quota, especially when mobile data is your only reliable connection.

The 5GB additional data has the same validity as that of the plan, i.e. 28 days. The data is credited only once at the time of top-up, so one will have to utilise this cautiously. In addition to internet, calls, and SMS perks, the plan also bundles access to several services, including JioGames, FanCode, and Snapchat+ subscriptions, alongside standard offerings like JioTV and JioCloud.

The plan also bundles a JioHotstar Mobile subscription with a validity of three months, along with 50GB of storage on JioAICloud. Additionally, it includes an 18-month subscription to Google Gemini Pro, claimed to be worth Rs 35,100, further enhancing the overall value of the pack. That said, these benefits are not exclusive to the Rs 459 Jio Youth & Gaming plan. They are available with several other Jio prepaid plans as well.

Nevertheless, the bundled benefits position this as both an entertainment and utility-focused package. To access the included services, subscribers need to sign in using their recharged Reliance Jio number. Additionally, people must remain on an active, eligible Jio plan throughout the offer period to continue enjoying these benefits.

This move is part of Jio’s broader push to move beyond one-size-fits-all plans and cater to specific user segments. Earlier, the telco rolled out dedicated plans for Battlegrounds Mobile India players as well. carrying a price tag of Rs 545 and Rs 495, those plans bundled exclusive in-game skin coupons alongside a range of additional benefits.

The newly introduced Rs 495 plan follows a similar approach. The plan is worth getting for Snapchat people, offering access to exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features available through Snapchat+. The plan gives Jio an edge over other telcos, Airtel and Vi, which don’t have any such offerings in their portfolio.
