What the new colours could mean for the Neo series

On the surface, this looks like a routine mid-cycle colour refresh. Brands do it quite often to keep older devices visible on shelves and relevant in search results. Although the timing here is worth paying attention to.

The iQOO Neo 11 launched in China back in October 2025 with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 7,500mAh battery, and a 2K OLED display. Typically, iQOO follows up a China launch with an India debut in the first half of the following year. That window has almost closed now, and there is still no word on an India launch for the Neo 11.

A report from Gadgets360, citing undisclosed sources, suggests iQOO may skip the Neo series in the country entirely in 2026. The reason, As per the report, is a combination of the ongoing memory chip shortage pushing up component costs and iQOO’s push to streamline its portfolio with cleaner product differentiation.

If we look at the new colour reveal with that context in mind, it makes a lot more sense. It is a way for iQOO to keep the Neo 10 in the conversation and give shoppers more choice without committing to a brand-new device launch in the segment. The new black and white options also address a gap in the original lineup.

While the Inferno Red and Titanium Chrome were good colour options, they were quite bold, gamer-friendly aesthetics. For consumers who wanted something more subtle, there were no options before this.

Whether iQOO fills the Neo-shaped gap with a new series or simply lets the 15R absorb that audience remains to be seen. For now, the new Neo 10 colours suggest that The company is keeping the lineup alive, even if it is not refreshing it this year.
