If you missed the launch, infinix has introduced a new smartphone in the country in the mid-segment segment that’s packed with features. The Infinix Note 60 Pro comes with an Active Matrix Display at the back, a dedicated button to measure your heart rate, and wireless charging support. This phone also marks Infinix’s first phone with a Snapdragon chipset. In addition to the secondary LED display, the Infinix Note 60 Pro also has a striking design with the rear camera island that might remind one of the iPhone 17 Pro series.

The Infinix Note 60 Pro price in the country begins at Rs 31,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128G storage. This phone comes in another variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It’s available in Deep Ocean Blue, Mocha Brown, and Solar Orange colour options.

Infinix Note 60 Pro specifications

The Infinix Note 60 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 7i, and 144Hz refresh rate. These display specs are pretty impressive for its price, making it apt for not just content consumption, but gaming as well. inside of the phone runs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, marking a shift from MediaTek to Qualcomm. Infinix also says the Note 60 Pro can deliver up to 78 percent faster performance than the Note 50 series. This suggests a significant leap in performance, which should be ideal for gaming and intensive tasks. This phone also gets 8GB virtual RAM for added performance, and 3D Ice Core VC cooling for heat dissipation.

The new Infinix smartphone includes a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging support, a feature usually reserved for premium-tier phones. This device also supports bypass charging, letting you play and charge at the same time without any heating or lag issues. Its cameras include a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor at the back, and a 13MP front camera for selfies. The camera specs are quite typical for this price segment, but alternatives are offering better options.

The Infinix Note 60 Pro gets an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, along with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. It comes with JBL-powered dual stereo speakers as well. On the software front, This device runs XOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.

Infinix Note 60 Pro Active Matrix Display

The highlight feature of the Infinix Note 60 Pro is the Active Matrix Display on the rear camera island. It’s composed of 288 independent LED pixels that display various animations, including characters like cats and dogs, notifications, battery levels, and more. You can even play mini games on the Active Matrix Display. It’s also customisable with the option to control brightness levels, add personal signatures, and more.

The Active Matrix Display might feel similar to the Glyph Matrix on the Nothing Phone (3), but the Infinix Note 60 Pro offers more features and a bigger display. You also get a dedicated side button for measuring your heart rate and SpO2 levels. The data can be accessed through the My Health app on the phone.

Infinix is also offering its MagPower speaker, worth Rs 3,999, for free with the Note 60 Pro for a limited time. It’s a Bluetooth speaker that doubles as a charger and portable stand for the Infinix Note 60 Pro. Since it supports MagSafe, the speaker can be used on any compatible phone.

There’s a special Call of Duty: Mobile edition of the Infinix Note 60 Pro as well. This one has custom themes and comes in a COD Mobile box as well. Everything else, including the design of the phone, remains the same.

The Infinix Note 60 Pro comes across as a feature-rich option, offering capable hardware suited for both everyday tasks and more demanding usage. Its everyday performance will be clearer once we complete our review, but on spec sheets, it positions itself as a strong contender in the mid-segment segment, especially for people interested in gaming and an interactive display experience.
