Worth noting for Indian buyers — flipkart’s Sasa Lele sale kicks off on May 9th, and Motorola is one of the brands in This phone section that has revealed their deals (via). Five phones are getting discounted prices, and a couple of them are worth paying attention to depending on what you are looking for.

Motorola deals on Flipkart

Phone | Launch price | Current price on Flipkart | Sale price
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion | Rs 22,999 | Rs 22,999 | Rs 19,999
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion | Rs 24,999 | Rs 26,999 | Rs 24,999
Motorola G57 Power | Rs 12,999 | Rs 17,999 | Rs 15,999
Motorola G96 | Rs 17,999 | Rs 20,999 | Rs 17,999
Motorola G67 Power | Rs 17,999 | Rs 18,999 | Rs 16,499

The most straightforward deal here is the Edge 60 Fusion at Rs 19,999, that is Rs 3,000 below its launch price and current selling price. The Edge 70 Fusion at Rs 24,999 is back to its original launch price after having crept up to Rs 26,999, so it’s a good correction even if it’s not technically a discount from launch.

The G57 Power situation is more complicated. It launched at Rs 12,999, climbed to Rs. 17,999, and the sale brings it to Rs 15,999. That is better than the current price but still Rs 3,000 above what it originally cost. Worth knowing before treating it as a bargain, plus the successor is here and is only Rs 500 more expensive in the sale.

Which deals are worth it: our take

The Edge 60 Fusion at Rs 19,999 is the standout. It is a capable mid-segment phone with a solid camera system, clean software, and good display quality. At this price it goes up against the iQOO Z11x and POCO M8, both of which are strong at similar price points. The Edge 60 Fusion competes well on build quality and software experience, and Rs 19,999 is a price that makes the comparison more comfortable than it was at launch.

The Edge 70 Fusion at Rs 24,999 is also a reasonable buy if you were already considering it. The phone launched at this price, drifted upward, and is now back where it started. Motorola’s edge is typically the display and camera consistency rather than raw performance.

The sale starts May 9th, which is just days away. If any of these phones were already on your radar, waiting makes sense. The Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 70 Fusion prices in particular are genuinely better than what you would pay today. The additional bank offers, exchange deals, and financing options that Flipkart typically bundles into sales like this could also bring the effective price down further, so it’ll be worth checking those at the time of purchase before deciding.

These price corrections suggest Motorola may be using the sale to realign its portfolio with current market expectations, especially in the sub-Rs 25,000 segment.
